Due to restructuring to support business growth, our client who is an international market leader in their niche, is seeking a European Credit Control Manager to be based in Lisbon. Our client is willing to provide some support for the right candidate to relocate to Portugal to take up this key role.
As European Credit Control Manager you will
- Plan and look forward to needs of our business in the medium term for a credit management service;
- Establish and maintain day to day client credit facilities;
- Manage the collection of debt and recoveries through a team of multilingual credit executives.

Key requirements
At least 2 years' experience in a credit control manager or supervisor role in an international, telephone based, multi lingual environment and at least 5 years of practical credit control experience. Ideally your experience will be in European insurance markets We would also be interested to hear from Credit Control Managers working in the wider financial services with significant international experience.
You will need to be business fluent in English with knowledge of French or German being an advantage. You should also have strong team leadership and coaching skills to enable you to deliver a high quality international business critical service.
