We are looking for talented PHP developers who want to work in a fast paced, international and fun work environment. The job is based out of Berlin, one of the most active startup cities in Europe, and offers an attractive package.


Your responsibilities and opportunities:
• Planning, maintenance and service of sophisticated PHP-based projects
• Agile development of complex and scalable solutions for high-traffic web applications in PHP5 in direct contact with operations and product managers
• Optimization and standardization of system architecture
• Performing modern project management

Your Profile
• You have a Bachelor's degree in an IT-related department or a comparable degree with related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• You have relevant experience in object-oriented programming in PHP5 and MySQL
• You are familiar with the basics of system administration (Linux, Apache or nginx)
• You have experience within PHP-MVC frameworks (Zend Framework) and TDD
• You are aware of current IT-trends and keep pace with modern development methods and tools
• Preferably you already have acquired deep understanding of e-commerce system architectures (e.g. Magento, Oxid eSales, Zen-Cart, Hybris, Intershop, xt:Commerce)
• You have great interest in the scaling of high-performance websites, optimization of databases, web services (REST, SOAP) and the useful application of design patterns
• You combine analytical thinking with communicative skills, achievement motivation and enjoy teamwork
• You speak English fluently
